Walk Slowly, Look Deeply: CEL Storytelling Program
This CEL Storytelling Program is based on the principles of "slow" storytelling practiced by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Paul Salopek on his epic Out of Eden Walk across the world. Come learn the principles of exploratory, place-based reporting and capture the essence of a local story in digital multimedia narratives. You will also have the opportunity to attend a trip to Shenyang, joining Paul Salopek on his journey through north China. Apply for the program by Friday, September 21 for limited spots!

The mandate of the Critical Inquiry Committee is to foster the development of critical thinking skills beyond the classroom setting. We will organize events that encourage students and faculty to engage in discussions around contentious or controversial topics. We intend to increase their capacity to deal with differences of opinion and to help build a skill set to evaluate new perspectives.
